"Matiz" of Daewoo Motors records Big Hit in Italy
Matiz,a small car Daewoo Motors Co produces,is recording a big hit in Italy.Daewoo Motors announced on September 15 that it made contracts to sell about 20,000 units of Matiz in the Italian market after just two months since it began selling Matiz on July 1.
Choi An Soo, president of a subsidiary of Daewoo Motors in Italy, predicted, 'we will sell about 30,000 units of Matiz by the end of this year in Italy.'
Meanwhile, a broadcasting company owned by the Italian government twice aired the news of the Matiz boom and 5 major monthly megazines specializing in cars reported simultaneously the special edition about Matiz.
