"Novotel, the Best Hotel in Seoul"
The Novotel Ambassador was selected as the best hotel in Seoul topping all other first class hotels. According to the Business Traveller, a Hong Kong-based magazine specializing in travel, which surveyed 600 businessmen who have used accommodations around the Asian and Pacific area for longer than 36 days, the Novotel was selected the best hotel in Seoul with an average 8.4 score. The Novotel ranked ninth in the same survey in 1997.The Novotel topped the list in facilities, food services, and value of goods among five criteria evaluated. According to the survey, Hotel Shilla ranked second, followed by the Intercontinental, the Westin Chosun, and the Hyatt. The Hilton came in sixth, followed by the Lotte Hotel, the Lotte World Hotel, and the Radison Plaza.
