National Assembly to Persuade US

The National Assembly will send delegates to the United States this week to persuade the U.S. House of Representatives to reconsider their decision to cease financial support for North Korean heavy oil requirements.
Park Jung Soo, former minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade is the head of the delegation, and the assemblymen will be staying in the U.S. until the September 30th meeting with House leaders.
The Korean delegation is going to explain that there is a strong possibility that North Korea will rescind the NK-U.S. Geneva Agreement if the United States withdraws funding for heavy oil.
Moreover, President Kim Dae Jung will send a personal letter to the House and Senate seeking support for North Korea.
