Ruling Party to Limit Money Concentration

The ruling National Congress for New Politics (NCNP) on September 27 hinted that they are preparing some kind of policy to limit fund concentration solely from accumulating in big business groups (chaebols).
The party wants to avoid economic stagnation by allowing enough money to flow among medium size business groups, a source from the NCNP said.
He continued, 'It goes without saying that any economic boosting policy cannot be on track as long as much needed money only runs through the big five business conglomerates such as Hyundai, Samsung, Daewoo, and LG. So we will be focusing on enacting a new law that will promote more money going to various enterprises.'
Park Kwang Tae, a party spokesmen declared, 'Those five major chaebles hold 80% of corporate bonds while the powerless but steady small companies are falling, therefore there should be an epoch-making change in Korea to eliminate this sort of economic injustice.'
NCNP also indicated that most policies from now on will be based on accelerating exporting accomplishments.
