Private Schools Will be Liberalized Next Year

The operations of various kinds of private schools including computer training, shorthand, golf lessons and fashion design will be liberalized from next year.
The Regulation Reform Committee (RRC) which is composed of civilians and governmental officials decided on plans for deregulation of educational institutes on October 2. They will revise the related laws and principles within the year.
According to the plan, the RRC intends to liberalize in principle the foundation of all kinds of private schools, abolishing the current regulation that allows only 117 private school courses.
Moreover, the RRC will abolish all restrictions about the educational courses, the quality of instructors and such equipment as a lecture room size excluding the fares for such courses.
