Sambo"s Economy Computer Popular in U.S.

Sambo Computer Company's low price computers(photo) are popular in the U.S. market.
According to Sambo Computer as of October 8, the company has received orders for 180,000 units since it began to sell its low price and recently developed computers in the U.S. market.
The low price computers, which the company announced the development, come in two prices, 499 dollars and 599 dollars. Both include a monitor and computer and are equal to 0.7~0.8 million won.
Though the computers are cheap, they have multimedia functions and can access the Internet.
Recently, in the US market, approximately 800 dollar PCs are now popular. Therefore, Sambo Computer's products are competitive, experts in the industry are saying.
Sambo Computer is attacking the US market through Emachines, a new distributor which Sambo set up with Korea Data Systems (KDS), a Korean moniter maker.
Sambo Computer has already received a contract for 30,000 units for the Japanese market through a supply contract with T-Zone and Sotec, famous Japanese distributors.
Meanwhile, the company is now trying to pioneer the South American and Chinese markets and made a contract to export 30,000 units of computers per month.
