Exports to Europe Increasing

Exports to Europe have been increasing significantly this year while financially troubled Indonesia and Thailand have seen their Korean imports decline.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on October 24 confirmed this in its National Audit session.
As of September, Korean exports' increasing rate was outstanding to Switzerland(144%), Spain(68%), Italy(50%), Australia(41%), and Holland(40%).
However to Indonesia(52.3%), Thailand(37.8%), and Malaysia(22.3%)was relatively low compared to that of last year.
Meanwhile, the United States is the top country in terms of investing in Korea with 1.4 billion dollars in the first half of this year.
