Lee Young Hee to Visit North Korea
Lee Young Hee, a former professor of Hanyang University, plans to visit North Korea from November 3 to 10. A source at the Ministry of Unification (MOU) said on October 29, 'The Asia Pacific Peace Committee of North Korea invited him and he will discuss cultural and educational exchanges at the civilian level.'Lee received approval to visit the North from the MOU and already finished a pre-visit orientation session. He had previously been arrested on suspicion of planning to visit North Korea in March 1989.
