Revised Biography Generates Renewed Interest in Chun Hye Rin"s Writings

Chun Hye Rin(1934-1965), a renowned writer who died at the young age of 31, is the subject of a revised biography that hopes to introduce her to a new generation of readers.
Writer Lee Deok Hee recently published Chun's biography titled 'Chun Hye Rin' which is a revised edition of her 1982 book. The new book is longer at 349 pages and retails for 6 dollars.
Chun's significance stems from the way she challenged the old generation with accurate, barbed criticism. She studied in Germany and taught in several Korean universities. In 1965 she killed herself shocking those who knew her. People have struggled since then in attempting to find reasons for her suicide.
