Third Korean Media Summit Held

The Korean Media Summit which was organized by the JoongAng Ilbo and the Seoul Japan Club (SJC) was held in the Shilla Hotel on November 13.
The forum's purpose was to improve the mutual understanding of Japanese businessmen in Korea and Korean media specifically regarding the current economic situation and how Korea's media reports on the changes in the economy.
Hong Seok Hyun, CEO/publisher and president of JoongAng Ilbo, and Kimura Sinichi, chairman of the SJC, attended and discussed various issues with more than 80 Japanese entrepreneurs.
Chairman Kimura said, ' The forum was very helpful in understanding the current situation of Korea.'
JoongAng Ilbo has now completed three Korean Media Summits as earlier they hosted the EUCCK and AMCHAM.
