Securities Industry"s Hiring is An Exception

Securities companies are offering jobs out of season. They are adding new employees and increasing branches because the stock index has soared 100 point the past month.
The major securities companies have been compensated for earlier staggering losses due to the sharp increase of stock transactions.
So, they need more manpower to gain an advantage before the full scale recovery of the economy. Whereas other industries continue to reduce the number of their employees.
A source at a securities company said, 'The stock index changes before the real market. So, new jobs offered by securities companies also occur before other industries.'
The number of job offerings in this field is expected to reach 1,000. Daewoo Securities hired 105 new employees last month and plans to hire a further 100 to 120 more interns. LG Securities also added 104 new personnel to their staff.
