International Drug Traffickers Arrested
International drug traffickers who have sold more than 10 billion won worth of drugs internationally were arrested through a joint investigation by Korea, the United States and Japan.The Korea Tariff Administration (KTA) announced on November 27 that the three countries tracked international drug traffickers and arrested three suspects and confiscated 3 kg of cocaine made in Colombia.
The U.S. Tariff Administration arrested a Mr. Rodrigues, a Colombian citizen transporting cocaine from Los Angeles to Korea on November 8, in Los Angeles Airport.
According to information which Mr. Rodrigues provided, KTA arrested a Mr. Harada on November 13 in Kimpo International Airport while Japanese authorities arrested a Mr. Concord in Japan.
