Unusual Temperature Causes Ecological Disorder
Recently there has been a lot of unusual ecological phenomena such as rice plants blooming again and spring flowers appearing due to recent high temperatures recorded.According to people in Keoje, Kyongsang province, rice plants are growing in their paddies up to a height of 50cm.
Moreover, 10 apple trees bloomed last month, which usually occurs in May, at Samsung Heavy Industry's property in Keoje.
This is mainly because the average high temperature in October was 17.7 degrees with 152mm of rain which mimicked spring conditions.
A meteorologist said, 'Keoje has experienced its highest fall and winter temperatures in 30 years and this kind of strange climate brought this rare change.'
