December 9 Will Be Coldest of the Year
If you have not yet broken out your long underwear, hats or mittens, now would be a good time as December 9 is expected to be the coldest day, so far, this year.The National Meteorological Observatory, on December 8, announced that a continental cold front will cover the Korean peninsula causing temperatures to fall to minus 7 degrees in Seoul.
The cold weather, however, should only last until December 12.
Expected lows for other Korean cities are the following: Suwon (-8); Taejon (-5); Chunchon(-9); and Kwangju (-3).
