Samsung Recieves a $100 Mil. Theme Park Order
Samsung Group's construction division recieved the bid to construct a theme park similar to its Samsung Everland in Yongin, near Seoul.Samsung announced on December 8 that it received the order to build a new Weimei Discovery World Theme Park and Resort from Taiwan's Changi Group worth 100 million dollars.
This is the first time a Korean company will construct a mammoth theme park abroad. Construction will start early next year and be finished by October, 2001.
The size of the complex is approximately 300 acres and will feature a water park, festival village, and outdoor theater.
