Lee Hoi Chang Chastizes Government
The opposition Grand National Party(GNP) president, Lee Hoi Chang, denounced the government's plan to reduce the retirement age for teachers.On December 15, Lee said, 'This kind of change is too reckless and I support maintaining teachers' retirement age at 65 rather than 61.'
In a party meeting, he also emphasized that the government's economic policy was illogical. He stated, 'Chaebol restructuring is being run by the president which ignores market economy principles.'
