Samsung and Daewoo will Maintain Current Structures For the Time Being
Samsung and Daewoo groups, which are now proceeding to exchange their car and electronics businesses, will maintain their current business structures for the time being.They reasoned that the aftermath following the big deal is far too enormous to act hastily.
A government official said, ' The two groups will announce an agreement on employment on the afternoon of December 16.'
Samsung is considering ways to maintain Daewoo Electronics Co. as a separate company so as to secure employment levels of the company and change the name of the company afterwards.
Daewoo also suggested that it will maintain a car factory of Samsung Motor Co. in Pusan for the time being.
