Virtual Publications on the Go

The days of strolling through book-lined stores whether just browsing or buying the current best-seller could be a thing of the past for the majority of customers.
Chorokbae Cartoons recently started a virtual bookstore called Time Electronic Bookstore at the Internet address of http://gboat.co.kr.
A consumer picks out their book through a menu system and sends money through an on-line system. Then the person simply downloads the book's contents either filing it to read on a monitor or printing to read in the more conventional way. There is no actual book delivery and the whole exhange could be a matter of minutes.
Time Electronic has 1,000 kinds of electronic books including Chinese folk tales, novels and poems, with an average price of 2,000 won.
Two writers, Lee Sang Woon and Lee Jin Woo, came up with the idea and hope to secure more than 10,000 books on-line.
