Use of Cell Phones Prohibited in Designated Places

The use of cellular phones in certain public places or in airplanes during take offs or landings will no longer be allowed.
The Ministry of Information and Communications on December 27 announced that it would prohibit the use of 'noisy' cell phones in hospitals and airplanes.
The Ministry said, 'Cell phone subscribers have surpassed 14 million customers; this has caused unpleasant noise pollution that bothers the general public. We will be changing the related regulations next year.'
It will also advocate hands-free installations in cars and attach frequency-blocking systems around hospitals, performance theaters and other public places.
