"ANSP" Will Changes Its Name to "NIS"
The Agency for National Security Planning(ANSP), established in 1961 as the Korean Central Intelligence Agency(KCIA), will change its name again to the 'National Intelligence Service(NIS)'.A committee of the National Assembly passed a revision draft of the Law on ANSP on December 28. When this draft passes the plenary session of the National Assembly in January of next year, the name 'NIS' will officially replace the 'ANSP'.
