Four Sites Nominated as Development Areas
Four venues situated throughout Korea were designated by the government as 'Development Areas for Building Sites' on January 3.The Ministry of Construction and Transportation announced the following locations: Kimpo-Shingok, Wonju-Musil's 3rd district, Mokpo-Ogam and Pohang Jangryang.
Each of the designated areas will be able to construct 28,000 housing-units to accomodate a 94,000 increase in population.
These areas are all either in under-devoloped metropolitan areas or adjacent to highways to spread out the population.
