S&P Will Upgrade Korea"s Credit Rating in February

Standard and Poor's(S&P) is forecasted to upgrade its credit rating for Korea at the soonest by early February.
A government source on January 13 disclosed, 'An investigative team from S&P, now visiting Korea, revealed its intention to present a team report suggesting to the sovereign credit rating committee of S&P to upgrade Korea's sovereign credit rating.'
The source said, 'S&P's team has already agreed to upgrade Korea's credit rating and the time of the upgrade will be within the following month or at the earliest by early February.
If S&P raises its sovereign credit rating for Korea, Korea will regain its position as a country with an 'investment possible' grade that it lost with the IMF bailout.
