Hannuri Securities Firm Files Lawsuit
Chung Heon Jun, chairman of Hannuri Securities and a major stockholder, said on January 15, ' Kim Seok Ki, ex-president of the company, conducted a hostile and illegal act when he tried to acquire the company by way of an aggressive M&A. Accordingly, the management expelled him from the company.'He added that the company will bring a lawsuit against Kim.
The company fired Kim from his position on January 7. But the former president explained, 'I did not commit any wrongdoing.'
He said that he will also sue the company, insisting that Anam Group, Hannuri's major stockholder, will have to keep its promise and honor a contract that stated the company will secure management power for Kim for five years.
