NK Political Exiles Seek Compensation for ANSP Treatment
Political exiles from North Korea are seeking some form of punishment or censure for the Agency for National Security Planning(ANSP).They held a press conference with four other civil-rights institutions on January 15 and insisted, 'The ANSP has been harshly treating political exiles who defect from the North. '
Civil-rights groups will sue various officials from the ANSP next week and file for compensation for the pain and suffering inflicted on NK defectors.
Concerning the assertion, the ANSP responded, 'There is no harsh treatment applied to the exiles. Possibly, as supporting money for the exiles has decreased, some dissatisfied exiles have exaggerated the facts.'
