Foreign Companies Satisfied with their Investment

Foreign companies are reported to be satisfied with their investments in Korea, and 44 percent of respondents are considering additional investments.
The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) surveyed 405 foreign companies. According to the survey, 59 percent felt they had achieved their 'investment goals', while only 14 percent answered they had not.
Concerning the profitability of doing business in Korea, 43 percent of the polled companies stated they were satisfied compared to only 11 percent who responded negatively.
Paek Chang Kon, an executive at KOTRA, said, 'The result of the survey shows that foreigners consider Korea's investment conditions positively. We plan to make every effort possible to help them expand their investments.'
