Antiwar Singer Park to Hold Concert

Park Chi Eum, a famous Korean antiwar and antinuclear singer, will hold a concert at the Live Theater on Taehakro(University Street) on February 1 to 2.
The title of this performance, 'Hyuk, Nu, Mang, Un-Park Chi Eum Concert, 1999' or in English 'Revolution, Falsely Charged, Exile, Destiny' symbolizes the antiwar movement and the plight of those who opposed the development and build up of weapons of mass destruction.
This concert consists of two parts, 'The Weight of a Millennium' on February 1 and 'The Hope of the Millennium' on February 2.
On the first day, about 50 ex-prisoners who served more than 20-year prison sentences for anti-government activities or prisoners of conscience will be invited.
'Forward Song' 'Last Words of a Fighter' 'Antiwar and Antinuke Song' 'My Darling Korean Peninsula' and other songs which were composed during the 90s will be sung by Park.
