As of January 25, foreign investors hold more than 50 percent of Korea Housing Bank's shares, a rare case in the formerly-exclusive Korean market.
As of January 25, foreign inverstors have 51.73 percent of Housing Bank stocks, which far exceeds the 39.21 percent recorded last May when investment limits were abolished. The rate is also far higher than the average rate of 11.54 percent on foreign investment in Korean banks.
A source from the Housing Bank said, 'There is no threat on our managerial right but we should concentrate more on a transparent administration from now on.'
