Overseas Buyers Come to Korea
At an export conference held at the KOEX Building in Seoul on January 25, more than 1,100 foreign buyers from 65 countries flocked to hold serious negotiations with Korean exporters.The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency(KOTRA) prepared more than 800 tables for consultation and there was not an empty table to be found.
A company made a contract worth 1.1 million dollars to export its machinery to a buyer from China.
Korean exporters recorded sales of export products worth 124.7 million dollars but that was as of 5 p.m., deals will be conducted into the late hours.
