Samsung and Daewoo"s Big Deal Still Far From Being a Done Deal

Samsung and Daewoo overcame one hurdle in their planned business swap when they agreed to maintain production of Samsung Motors' SM5 model.
But many obstacles still remain as the two chaebol giants differ in their opinion of the fundamental elements of their big deal that calls for Daewoo's acquisition of Samsung Motors for Samsung's absorption of Daewoo Electronics.
Above all, both groups wildly disagree on Samsung Motors' price-tag, and they still have to deal with the range and scope of the deal: Will the deal just be an exchange of Samsung Motors and Daewoo Electronics or will it include their other car and electronics parts businesses, as well.
Samsung announced that it will hire all of Daewoo Electronics' employees, but Daewoo has stated that it will hire only some of Samsung Motors' employees.
