Assessment Report of Governmental Agencies Submitted

Nine private economic institutions have submitted a draft form of the assessment and restructuring of governmental agencies to the Planning Budget Committee (PBC). This is the second restructuring plan for government organizations submitted. Critics complained the first plan that integrated many of the government agencies' operations fell short of the mark when it went into effect last year.
In the draft's contents are plans for changing governmental organizations' functions and scope, as well as details for the proposed allotment of more than 200 positions formerly held by civil servants that will be filled by civilians.
Additionally, the draft will include an improvement plan for faster decision-making and the reduction of manpower through organizational changes.
The nine institutions which formed the committee will stipulate concrete changes including the downsizing of 17 government agencies.
The PBC will not release details before a final assessment and the government's plan is fixed sometime in March.
