Daewoo to Export Seat Motors to U.S.

Daewoo Corporations announced on February 3 that it signed a contract to export motors for power seats to a U.S.-based auto parts company, JCI.
Daewoo will exclusively export 200 million dollars worth of the motors, which electronically move seats in a variety of positions, over the next four years.
This motor is intended for use in GM, Ford, and Daimler-Chrysler car seats. Yoon Sok Hwah, head of Daewoo Auto Parts Center, said, 'This contract means that Daewoo's technology and quality is world-class.'
