FKI takes Economic "Road Show" to Japan

February 5th, 1999 - The Federation of Korean Industries(FKI) hosted informational talks in order to boost japanese foreign investment at Tokyo's Keidanren Headquarters - the Japanese counterpart to the FKI
Sohn Byong Doo, vice chairman of the FKI, explained the current restructuring strategies of Korean business groups and tried to sollicit Japanese active investment into the Korean market from the 150 Japanese businessmen present. He said, 'We are waiting with anticipation for Japanese positive investment ensuring the future system of economic cooperation between Korea, Japan and China. There will also be tax deductions as incentives for investment.'
