LG Semicon Labor-Management Agree To Negotiation
LG Semiconductor's labor and managemnet sides finally agreed upon the amount of compensation to be given. Work will now resume at the factory starting February 8 after two weeks' sabotage.The two assented to pay employees 600 percent of the monthly salary 'consolation' money plus 400 percent 'encouragement' money as well.
With the advance in the talks, the restructuring movement between LG and Hyundai Semicinductors should end by next week.
A source from LG said, 'We would like to deliver all our stock shares to Hyundai before February 13, but there is a big gap in terms of price standard among the two groups.'
