Internal Government Investigation Launched

A secretive investigation agency working out of the Prime Minister's Office has begun '007-like activities'.
The agency is divided into five sections, and its mandate is to search for any corruption by governmental officials.
Each team has five or six agents who will monitor the comings and goings of government officials and those who visit them. Internal members check visitors' identity and sometimes even check officials' desks.
Kim Yon Pan, a director of the Food Safety Bureau under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, was found to have a large quantity of cash in his cabinet that turned out to be bribery money.
The agency announced to keep a secretive and watchful eye on all high-positioned officials to create a new era of corruption-free administrations.
