Venture Investment Companies Increasing
Small and medium-sized venture investment companies are increasingly appearing in Korea. According to the Korea Venture Capital Association, on February 12, the number of companies totaled 71 last year, which is more than the 61 recorded in 1997 and the 53 in 1996.The reason for the increase is due to the government's active support of new, young groups while investors feel confident of future benefits.
