Byun Jae Seung Nominated as a Supreme Court Justice
Chief Justice Yun Kwan nominated Byun Jae Seung as a new Supreme Court Justice on February 19.Nominees must be appointed formally by the president after approval by the National Assembly. President Kim Dae Jung and the Assembly are expected to endorse the nomination, and Byun will start his six-year term on February 27.
Mr. Byun, a former district court judge, is an expert on the Civil Proceedings Act. He is presently working in the courts administration.
