LG Exports New Medicine

LG Chemicals announced on February 24 that it made a contract with England's Smith-Klein Beecham(SB) to supply antibiotic technology worth 40 million dollars.
The technology developed by LG is a patented anti-virus medicine used to combat hepatitis and the AIDS virus. The total market value is estimated at 18 billion dollars a year.
LG is also developing a new hemophilia remedy, a spokesperson added.
