New Era of Pentium 3

The personal computer will enter the 'Pentium 3' era at last.
Most major domestic computer makers such as Samsung, Sambo and LG will be selling new products that feature American-based Intel's new Pentium 3 chips from February 26.
Intel recently announced its computer chip development and supply plans, and launched a full-scale campaign directed at PC makers and users around the world.
Domestic companies therefore are ready for the coming 'March Madness' sales wars.
Samsung will be releasing its 'Magic Station M6100-TH01' while Sambo counters with the 'Dream 9450'. Daewoo will launch its 'Chorus CT6480-450K', and Sejin and LG-IBM are also preparing additional models that use the Pentium 3 processor.
Pentium 3 has versions in 450 and 500 MHz, and its data processing speed is at least two times faster than the Pentium 2. It is expected to be a big attraction for Internet and game users.
The price will actually be cheaper than the Pentium 2, at prices between 1,600-3,200 dollars.
