Monopoly on Natural Gas Sales to End

Domestic natural gas sales, which have long been monopolized, will soon see the introduction of competition.
A source from the Fair Trade Commission(FTC) said on March 9, 'We have conducted research over the last week to determine whether there is unfair dealing in the gas trade among government corporations, as a result a competitive system will be induced after consulting with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy.'
Liquefied natural gas(LNG) is sold only by government-directed gas corporations, which have completely monopolized the sales and distribution networks.
