Yongin and Hwasung Offering Industries Incentives
The neighbouring cities of Yongin and Hwasung in Kyonggi Province are being developed as a regional industrial center.The Ministry of Construction and Transportation, on March 11, announced that although the special designated area is actually 31.1 percent smaller than last year's original design, there are more incentives to build factories in the area.
Samsung Electronics' semiconductor plant in the Yongin and Hwasung area is planning to expand facilities to take advantage of the current benefits. If a company gets approval to build in the appointed industrial area, roads and water facilities will be provided by the local government and also numerous tax breaks will be given.
