Symphony Festival on the Go

Expect this years Symphony orchestra to emit a beautiful medley of classics and modern favorites. The musical gala is highlighted by exceptional double bass and horn instruments for which Korea has an international reputation. The '1999 Symphony On The Go Festival' takes flight April 9 to 26 inviting over 16 orchestras to the Korea Arts Center.
This year, the spotlight will be focused on debut performances by up and coming conductors Yoo Kyong Sun(Yonsei University)'s who will perform his original symphony 'Sky' and Yoo Jin Pyong(Hanyang University) conducting'Amnion'.
Previously original Korean works were limited to preludes of less than 10 minutes duration. This time a 25-minute-long concerto will be added and conductors like Cho Shin Wook(Masan City) and Lim Dong Soo(Taejon City) will debut the longer pieces on Soul's stage.
Tickets for the Symphony are only 12 dollars.
