Steam Engine Train Runs Again
A steam engine for tourists is set to run again between Seoul and Uijongbu city in Kyonggi province.According to the National Railroad Administration on April 2nd, a steam engine is scheduled to operate between the two cities every Sunday and holidays, starting from April 4 through late November.
The train with a capacity of 72 seats leaves the Seoul Railroad Station at 10:15 a.m. and arrives Uijongbu at 11:50 a.m. It returns to Seoul in the evening of the same day.
Would-be passengers are advised to reserve tickets in advance.
The railroad authority says a group of passengers could charter the whole train during weekdays for a picnic or excursion.
