World Advertisement Conference in Seoul
The 46th Advertisers' Event will be held at the Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul from May 24 to 28. The event is sponsored by the World Federation of Advertisement(WFA), and 700 people from the advertising industry will attend.It is hosted every two years at a different location around the world. This year's slogan is 'New Challenge for the New Millenium'. Kim Woo Joong, chairman of Daewoo group, has been appointed the leader of this year's event.
WFA members account for 85 percent out of the 200 billion dollars in world-wide advertising revenue. WFA also offers information service to the United Nations and the European Union.
The next event will be held in Tokyo, Japan in 2001.
