Outsourcing in Personnel Expands

'Outsourcing' is everywhere in Korean business.
An American company which exports ties and scarfs to Korea remitted 4,250 dollars of payment for 60 employees to a labor management corporation in Seoul last month for redistribution.
The corporation resent the money to each person's bank account with a detailed list in the envelope.
It was done in this fashion to avoid revealing salaries to employees many of whom receive different rates of pay.
Another apparel company also outsourced its personnel, accounting and taxation processes to an expert service corporation last February. The company claimed to save 3,360 dollars every month abolishing these various managerial tasks.
Management work such as personnel, accounting and general affairs are recently being added to the list of outsourcing tasks.
Compared to chaebol groups, small and medium sized business companies have less experienced management teams and require expert advice.
Furthermore, transparent administration benefits as outsourcing of accounting tasks reveals any legal irregularities such as slush funds and improper donations.
