Egyptian President Mubarak to come to Seoul

President Mohammed Mubarak of Egypt and his wife will make a three-day state visit to Seoul beginning April 9.
President Mubarak, who commenced a three-nation tour of Korea, Japan and China on April 6, will visit the Blue House (Chung Wae Dae) and meet President Kim Dae Jung for a summit meeting on the afternoon of April 9.
Both presidents will exchange opinions on the political situations on the Korean Peninsula and in the Middle East, and discuss President Kim's policy of engagement towards North Korea.
Mubarak's visit to Korea is the first such visit by an Egyptian president. He will visit the National Assembly on April 10, and then meet Prime Minister Kim Jong Pil and Kim Woo Jung, chairman of Daewoo group, so as to discuss methods to enlarge economic cooperation and promote mutual investment between South Korea and Egypt.
