Religious Books Published

A protestant minister and a buddhist monk both issued books of essays based on their religious journeys, on April 9.
Park Sam Jung of Jabi Temple in Pusan authored 'Fate Story 1,2' and Minister Kim Yohan, a representative of the Christian Network, wrote 'Spread the Wings of Holy God'.
Park's autobiographical book covers his troubled youth which included three different step-fathers. He describes his early vagabond existence and even various love affairs.
He stressed in the book, 'Even though I have long shouted I was right, I did not find out the real truth of myself until much later. I wanted to reveal this reality in the book.'
Kim's book is not as personal as Park's as he concentrates on Christian philosophy. 'In the Good Book, tragedy and glory amidst dark waters is just like the dawning star, radiating itself without exaggerating nothing.'
Both books aim to help youth face the new millenium and the 21st century by focusing on the benefits of religion.
