KAL"s Explosion Still a Mystery

The cause of the explosion of a Korean Airline cargo flight shortly after take off from Shanghai's Hongchiao International Airport, is still questionable.
The Ministry of Construction and Transportation and Korean Air stated the plane exploded in mid-sky and then crashed.
In contrast, eyewitnesses are insisting that the tail of the plane hit a high-voltage wire line tower and then crashed into apartment buildings.
According to communications between the airport control tower and the pilot just before the incident, the cargo plane took off at 5:04 pm on April 15 under good weather conditions.
The pilot radioed 'Everything is OK'. But as soon as the transmission finished, the plane disappeared from radar and then exploded.
Although Chinese witnesses maintain the plane exploded when it hit the building, the Korean government says it was not the first explosion but a secondary one that occurred on impact instead.
Experts are speculating the blast may have been caused by a sudden detonation in the enginek, since no serious communication came from the pilot. The truth will be in doubt until the black box is completely deciphered.
