Samsung Motors Suspends Operations Again
Samsung Motors has decided to suspend production again from April 27, due to the lack of motor parts.Samsung Motors' subcontractors completely stopped supplying automative parts to Samsung starting April 26, asking Samsung to make up for losses they have suffered due to the struggling carmaker's diminished orders.
According to sources, Pusan-based auto parts suppliers for Samsung Motors have suffered steep operating losses, because of the low level of current production.
Samsung's suspension of car production is expected to cause trouble to the proposed business swap between Daewoo and Samsung.
