Head of Supply Admin.Resigns

Kang Jung Hoon, head of the Supply Administration, submitted his resignation on April 30.
A top official at the the Administration stated that Kang sent his resignation to minister of government administration and home affairs early this morning.
He added that Mr.Kang expressed his stepping down from office yesterday.
Kang is supposed to be summoned and investigated by the Supreme Prosecutor's Office at 10 a.m., May 1, on allegations that members of the Supply Administration received 200 million won in kickbacks from companies which supplied equipment to the government
Kang was promoted to the position in March 1997, and had been in charge for the past 26 months.
