Lottery Produces 570,000-Dollar Winner

The 42nd 'Toto Lottery' produced a 570,000-dollar winner, the largest amount ever awarded in Korean lottery history.
According to the Korea Bank of Housing on May 10, Mr. Park(45) who lives in Seoul bought five lottery tickets in a series at a kiosk in Chamsil subway station bearing the numbers of 1724759-1724763, three of which were eventual winners.
Park claimed the grand prize as well as second and third prize because he matched six of the winning numbers. Prior to Park's number being drawn, 120,000 dollars had accumulated because of the absence of a winner the previous two weeks.
Mr. Park was too busy working and did not even know he possessed the winning ticket. He went bankrupt a couple of years ago and had bought five tickets a week ever since.
He said, 'This is far too much luck for me. I'll write off my debts and buy a house for my family.'
